It's not exactly afterlife related, but may I strongly recommend the documentary AlphaGo, which is available in full on YouTube. It's about the (legendary) 2016 Go match between 9th dan professional Go player (and 18-time world champion) Lee Sedol and the AlphaGo AI, which is notable for being the first instance in which a computer program beat a human champion at the game.
For all the talk of AI and Go (a game I'm not intimately familiar with) it's a surprisingly human and affecting story, and one that led me down a Wikipedia hole of anti-computer tactics - a truly fascinating (and very human) response to a superior foe.
