Hey everyone! Just a quick update to let you know that I'm still alive.
Apologies for the lack of updates of late. After the Kickstarter for the collected edition of Volume 5 ended in the summer, I've been working hard on Volume 6 behind the scenes. Sadly, making comics is a costly and time-consuming process, and my first concern had to be securing the funds to make the next arc a reality. While I had initially agreed a production schedule with the amazing Vee Glass (whose art you'll recognise from the cover to Volume 5, and some of the archangels storyline), sadly they had to drop out of the project just before Christmas due to prior contractual agreements.
So, as we currently stand, we've got the funds (yay!), and most of a script (yay!) but no artist (no!) - so I've decided to take the time to pause, reflect and make sure the story is the absolute best it can be before launching back in and finding an artist. You'll be pleased to hear that Vee completed a third of the book before leaving, and that their pages look absolutely incredible. We'll be keeping this content, as it's too good to lose, but the trick now will be finding someone to do the rest of the story justice.
