After the bombast of Volume 4, Glory Days was meant to be a change of pace: a smaller, more intimate collection of stories that followed our heroes as they adapted to being the unchallenged rulers of the afterlife. In reality, while still a quieter, more reflective book, Glory Days morphed into something far stranger than I could have anticipated – and at 166 pages it’s hardly short, either!

From the mysterious origins (and fate) of the lost archangels, to long-buried mysteries, ‘Die Hard in the Afterlife’, and a conspiracy that threatens everything Afterlife Inc. holds dear, Glory Days is a book about being at the top of your game and suddenly realising there’s only one way to go from there.

Three new pages of Afterlife Inc. will still be published every week in the lead up to the Kickstarter launch, and even during the campaign itself, as we accelerate towards our conclusion. This book has been a slow build and I apologise if answers have at times been elusive or vague. Believe me when I say that there is a grand plan to these strange days of gold and regret, and by the time our finale rolls around I hope that even if answers haven’t presented themselves you’ll at least have a better class of question to enjoy.

Thanks so much for the support, gang – and for sticking with us this past year. Taking Volume 5 fully online was a big leap for us and having you along for the ride has been an incredible honour.
